Counts are kept per location, and a count in the back room never erases the front. Transfers move stock in one step.

Gift cards sold like any line. Returns without a receipt need a manager's PIN and are capped.

No scanner yet? The till reads barcodes with the tablet's camera, and prints shelf and barcode labels.
Opens without the network
The till starts from local data and rings at the right tax rate with the internet down. If a sale rung offline is ever lost, that month is free.
